Natalie Broders

When you're preparing to have a baby, you can't help but wonder how birth will unfold for you. You want to remember the entire experience: how hard you worked, the look on your partner's face, and the incredible reward at the end. Intuitively, you know it's important that each person on your team brings the right energy to the room. Your birth team matters.

A little bit about me... both my kids were born with midwives, one at a birth center and one at home. When I say I understand what kind of birth you want, you should know that I really get it. We live on a small farm where we raise chickens, goats, and grow our own food. I homeschool and cloth diapered both kids!

I do not take it for granted when a family trusts me to guide them through the process of having a baby. I promise to put my full heart into supporting you and your partner through your greatest achievement.

Yes! You can still have doula support at your birth during covid-19. I attend all birth center and home births. Portland area hospitals are allowing doulas with proof of certification.

Client Love

Read what these families have to say about their experience with our lovely doulas.

"Natalie is amazing at building lasting relationships with her clients. She's been here for us from our pregnancy announcement all the way through birth and newborn. She has built such a special bond with our family during this process. We still go visit her often and she is always checking in on the progress of our family. I can't thank her enough for capturing all the moments she has for our family, but especially photographing the birth of my second son. You can't put a price on memories, but she is WELL worth the money."

"Natalie is the best that a Midwife can hope for. She is kind, non-obtrusive and really captures the raw and authentic sweet moments at birth. She is a wonderful member of a Birth Team and I highly recommend her." - Midwife

"Natalie was a wonderful person to have at my home birth. Her presence was soothing and reassuring, and the photos she got are so valuable to our family. We decided it was something we'd budget for, because I wanted to remember this beautiful phase of life forever."
