Hannah Cason

I became a Doula because I truly love to help people. I enjoy talking about birth with expecting mamas, guiding excited parents through getting their home ready for baby, and supporting them down the road of the most memorable experience they will ever have...the path that leads them to parenthood. -And who doesn't love newborns??

From the beautiful baby bumps, tiny infants, the victory of birth, tearfully appreciative new parents, and so much love! Offering endless support and care to a family as they bring new life into this world, and helping out at home as they rest and find their routine is an incredible profession to be in!What an absolute blessing to be a Doula!

Born in Portland, Oregon as the third of five children, Hannah grew up in a loving, Christian family. When she isn't attending a birth or helping out postpartum in a Client's home, Hannah can be found out enjoying the Pacific Northwests' epic nature, painting on canvas, double-dating with her fiancé and friends, or binge watching a new Netflix series with a hot cup of tea. She values community, self-care, and respect and attempts to implement them in all parts of her life. Hannah resides in the Brooklyn Neighborhood of Southeast Portland, Oregon and cherishes her hometown.

Read what these families have to say about their experience with our lovely doulas.

"We hired Hannah to be our doula for the birth of our second child and can’t imagine having gone through the process without her — she is extremely professional, supportive, knowledgeable, thoughtful, and helpful. We can’t recommend her enough.

"Hannah was our Doula for the birth of our first boy in October. While I was not looking for an all natural birth, since our families are out of town, and my husband does not do well in hospital settings, we knew we wanted to have an extra support person on our team. We interviewed three doulas in person before we officially hired Hannah. We felt at ease and confident in her abilities after our fist in-person meeting wither her, and knew that personality wise she was a great fit for us. She is very knowledgeable, non-judgmental, and patient answering in answering our many questions and then some. We wanted our birth environment to be calming but also light hearted, and Hannah was just that.

"Hiring Hannah was the best decision my husband, Cory, and I made for the birth of our son. I wanted to have a med-free birth and after our birth classes we decided we needed additional, experienced support. Only a month prior to our due date I contacted several doulas to see if any were available. Hannah was the first to return my plea for help and we set a time to meet soon after. Upon meeting, we immediately liked Hannah. She was easy to talk with, had a great sense of humor, and put us at ease. During our prenatal appointments she answered tons of questions, advised about additional baby gear, and calmed my anxieties. We established a great bond within the short time we knew her. I could tell she was ready to partner with us and empower Cory to support me during labor.
